I was actually really rooting for him
First i heard he was part dominican
Then I heard he got the nas Co sign
So I downloaded his hate me now tape
It was cool
There was a few tracks I liked
The KD track, the track he made for his cousin
It was nothing great tho
Then I heard a couple other tracks he was featured in and I wasn't feeling it
Especially the JR Writer one
I did like the Fab one
Then I heard the keiri tape once
I found it wack
And never bothered with him again

I do see some skill
And I see people talk about him here
And I actually heard his name on the streets

I believe Don is much better
His new tape is underwhelming to me tho

He's not wack but he don't always be picking beats that match his flow and sometimes it sounds like he's forcing it. His voice don't have the greatest presence on tracks. Over the right beats he can be dope, for example:

It may just depend on the person, I haven't really heard a wack dave east track, he has a really unique voice and style, plus his bars be hitting hard, and his charisma really shines when he spits
