This ain't a trap beat. That beat has alot more in common with V'don's production than something I would hear Metro produce.
The beat has clear trap elements breh c'mon now.

Don Q the best young east coast rapper right now. The only weakness I see is he use that same flow on every song, it's cool for now cause he only a couple of mixtapes in but he gon have to add more flows imo

How come T.I. never had this problemRight. There are just some emotions that you can't convey over trap beats. It limits subject matter.

Certain subject matter and trap beats needs to stay as far away from each other as possible.

The beat is extremely aggressive is it not? I mean the song is dope but there are certain "feelings" that you can't convey over this beat.
For example , the beat you posted gives off a totally different vibe than this:
This beat is more relaxed and laidback. Trap beats limits the feelings of the listeners. Its harder to touch the soul of people over hard, aggressive, dark trap beats.

The same content that Don Q talks about on trap beats is the same content he talks about on soulful beats...yeah he may deliver it more aggressively over a trap beat, but I don't see how the type of beat someone raps over limits their subject matter
The way I see it, it may change a rapper's delivery but not their subject matter

Well I guess you could LITERALLY rap about anything over any type of beat, but what I'm saying is that different beats causes you the listener to feel different things.
That's why I posted that gospel song. The subject matter of gospel music wasn't meant for hard trap beats. Its harder to "feel" love and romance over an aggressive beat.
Street shyt is better over trap beats and love, romance and other "positive" subjects are better over more relaxing beats like the one I just posted. In my opinion.
