The economy is on a bubble. We never really recovered from the recession in 08. We about to have the Great Depression 2.0 here soon

"I will sign a universal health care bill into law by the end of my first term as president that will cover every American and cut the cost of a typical family's premium by up to $2,500 a year." - Barack Obama, 6/23/2007No he didn't.
Bruh the conservatives will default on US debt just on "principle"I dont think its a big deal, but it ls definately something to consider
If it was a zero factor, why not just debt finance the entire government and eliminate all revenue? Obviously there is a threshold for the amount of US treasuries the market can sustain, even if it is far and away.
Okay. That's one statement in a speech at the beginning of his declared candidacy though. He backtracked on that real quick because during the whole primary he was pushing for a public option and state exchanges which isn't universal healthcare. That's one of the things Hillary got at him hard about during the debates--the fact that his proposal wasn't universal healthcare."I will sign a universal health care bill into law by the end of my first term as president that will cover every American and cut the cost of a typical family's premium by up to $2,500 a year." - Barack Obama, 6/23/2007
Then rates will skyrocket.... and then wat.
Naw, we gotta do something about the balance, and spending.

This comment is a little all over the place... I dont know how debt and tax cuts relates to dependancy on the gov?Bruh the conservatives will default on US debt just on "principle"

Naw, we gotta do something about the balance, and spending. The fact that we are even having this conversation is a problem. Americans shouldnt be growing increasingly dependent on the govt
@Poitier theres a difference between not believing the deficit hawks and not advocating for total debt financing of the government.
Who said anything about "total?" Thats a misinterpretation of what I was saying. The point in printing money is to get people (not a few ridiculously rich dorks getting QE) spending to create real revenue, real growth, real jobs, infrastructure, etc.
Universal health care definitely won't bankrupt the US economy nor would getting rid of taxes for people making less than 50k. It'd actually free up the middle class to actually be progress the country, instead of stagnation. The fact that you have pompous and smug idiots in here pretending otherwise is quite hilarious, though.
Doesn't matter though because the idiots will win out and the bubble will pop for the US, Europe and China and all the developing economies will go with them.
The actual tax burden for people making 50k a year at the federal and state level isnt that much. Most of the taxes they pay are sales taxes and other specified taxes like gasoline etc. I think there are more efficient ways of giving back to the middle class than tax cuts, the actual economic output per one dollar of tax cut was like 0.30 cents compared to 3.50 for food stamps

Thats why you print the money and instead of giving QE to the rich, you give it to the people and public goods projects that benefit them...
But can't do that, the deficit will bankrupt the country not like we aren't on a ticking bubble anyways![]()

In the context of @Poitiernomics they are one in the sameThis comment is a little all over the place... I dont know how debt and tax cuts relates to dependancy on the gov?
