Ehh, I'll have to rewatch as I didn't see anything that looked really better. I really don't like the art direction. Feels like some sort of fever dream game made in Dreams.

This has the shape to be the best 3D platformer from Nintendo First Party since Mario Galaxy games imo. This one def feels like it has much more gameplay variety and creativity then Odyssey had.

The only concern is gameplay difficulty. Hopefully it is not like Odyssey where 97% of the game was easy af.

I’m sure it will get challenging as you progress. Plus you can technically make it more difficult for yourself if you don’t level up DK

Lore wise, kid Pauline had to be the biggest retcon in any Nintendo game.

And I love that just gave Donkey Kong SSJ4.

It’s not a retcon it’s part of the unplanned Nintendo multiverse. There is no real connection between all these games they just come up with an idea and make a game. It’s like how people want to act like Zelda has a real planned timeline for the whole series. Half these games are just random universes using different versions of existing characters.

IDK about that..PS5's install base was pretty big when Astro dropped, and the word of mouth really put some wind behind its sales.
