Is this Nintendo's response to Astrobot?

I feel like it's hard to compare them, yes they are both platformers but they feel nothing alike. This feels more the old Rare N64 games like DK64 and Banjo Kazooie mixed with Odyssey and BOTW with some Splatoon inspiration.

I'm not ready to say which game is better but the level design and controls on this are on another level.

I for some reason never got to play DK64 even though I was a big 3D platformer fan especially during the N64 era. I played Banjo Kazooie, Conker, Mario 64, even garbage like Chameleon Kid but didn't get around to Dk64.
