I’m wondering if this is something I have to just play for it to click. Seeing gameplay videos has me feeling like you just run around smashing stuff and for that reason I’m on the fence about it

It's definitely gives you harder puzzle and platforming sections are you progress. There are certain materials that you can't break through. If you enjoyed Odyssey, I think you'll definitely enjoy this.

Calling it a wrap at 970 bananas. The only ones I have left are from spending the banandium chips and I just don't want to do it.

Finally got my hands on this last night on my brother's Switch 2. Played maybe for about 30 minutes so I'm super early in the game. I just got that little singing rock and then I went to sleep. Can't really say I was too impressed as it's still early in the game and what felt like just mindlessly smashing up the place so far. I'll have to play some more later today to really sink my teeth in as I seen so many praising it over Odyssey which I thought was fantastic.
