Forest is the best RHP in the minors. That just don’t make sense. You dump Reddikk and trade from your surplus of other pitching prospects.
Didn’t he finish the year with a 5+ era? Only way to move Reddikks contract in full to make space to sign Cole & stay under the luxury tax is to make that move :yeshrug:

I would say Crane cheap. Our payroll will be $180 or more next year. He has done everything he promised. Depending how this season ends he will have to make a decision. Back load Cole’s contract. In 2 years JV and Zack will be off the books

I’m not sure if cheap is the right word. He’s def been fiscally responsible. We haven’t given away a Carlos Lee contract in a long time. I wouldn’t want to pay luxury tax in his shoes if I know my gm can build a roster that wins championships without having to dole out meaningless cash
