That's Right. Pay Homage. Thursday is a important Historical Day for Eagles Fans as we say Goodbye fully to the Mcnabb/Reid era as Donovan Mcnabb will have his Retirement Jersey Induction Ceromony. This was an Iconic and Legendary Era for Eagles Fans. Despite not winning the Title. Mcnabb and Andy Reid (Along with Jim Johnson RIP) made the Eagles contenders for the Entire decade. Only The Patriots and Colts won more games than the Eagles during that time. And Only The Patriots won more Playoff games (Donovan won more Playoff games than Peyton during his era). They both took the Eagles to 8 Playoff Appearences in 11 years. 9 Playoff wins. 5 NFC Championship Games and Super Bowl XXXIX which they only lost the game by 3 points.
Mcnabb finishes his career with amazing numbers. Including putting up some of the best numbers in the QB Position in NFL HISTORY. Andy Reid also has one of the highest winning totals for a coach in NFL History. Mcnabb and Reid are a Top 5 QB/Coach combo in NFL History and only Brady and Bellicheck have won more games as a coach/QB combo. So This Thursday Night on NFL Network. Big Red comes home with his 2-0 Chiefs to take on the 1-1 Eagles in which hopes to be a Classic Game for the ages. Pay Homage to Donovan Mcnabb and Andy Reid for everything they gave us as fans. I'll never forget this era.
