Also I don't like how people try to discredit Donovan for his time with Washington and Minny. It's clear the Shanahans are the problem. Look at Washington Now?. Also in Minny they were rebuilding and ended up making the playoffs the next year. Who's to say Donovan wouldn't of taken both to the playoffs with more time to gel with the team.

Donovan was on pace to break records for passing in Washington. Donovan's last 2 years with the Eagles were 2 Playoffs seasons and an NFC Title Game appearance. He wasn't done yet and if he had walked on water and took both of these struggling teams to the playoffs he would still be in the league. He probably should of just went to an AFC Team. SMH @ Washington giving him a 75 Million Contract and taking it away.

This is by far one of the best articles on the stupid and idiotic hatred Donovan recieved over his great career from not just Eagles fans but the media. I still can't believe the greatest QB in Franchise history got boo'ed at the draft. And for the record the Eagles fans hating on Donovan DO NOT represent the majority of the fanbase who love Donovan and everything he brought to the team.

Also the Eagles aren't the only team retiring Donovan's Number. Syracuse announced that they will be retiring Donovan's #5 Jersey in two months on 11/2/13. Wow, College and NFL retiring Jersey's. Get em Don:
