Im not saying BIG didn't make good music, I'm just saying everything from lyrics, to story telling, to just the feeling of the music, there's way too many artists that surpassed him. I understand ppl having that nostalgic feeling when they hear his music, but BIG is not GOAT or nowhere near itoddly enough i grew up on 00s rap![]()

i know. I used to think that also but once you listen to his music you can't help but put him there. some artist do it in song every now and then, but he does it consistently and effortlessly too. shyt i listened to "Gimme the loot" and wasI love Biggie, huge fan, I think at the time he was out him and Pac were the best so I can understand that.
Also as an MC, he's a GOAT contender because he was so naturally gifted at rhyming, voice, rhythm plus had lyrics, flavour, creativity & concepts etc.
The reason I can't put him in my top 2 is discography but I'm a huge fan and I always will be, it's a tragedy artistically that we never got to hear more from Big, a phenomenal talent and a legend.
