Where did I state they would not press the issue. In fact, I pointed out that if they did go and do it anyway, you now have a legal means of gaining redress for their actions, since you never gave them consent to search your vehicle. Doing that gives your lawyer something to work with. Seriously, are you this ignorant about your legal rights?
