Grabbing some dude we never heard of at 19 while we get a future top 8 protected pick in 2135, then on Thursday we going to read stories about how the Spurs spent the whole week trying to move up to 8 or 9 to draft Maluch but they just couldn't quite do it cause they didn't want to give up Sochan

I’m kinda sad at how much I agree with this.

I think the Spurs probably should trade the 14th pick to move up.

Trading down to pick up Sorber or someone like that and acquire some future picks doesn’t move the needle at all.

Getting some backup center at pick #21 and having a 2029 1st rounder is going to be worthless because by then you should be a top 4-5 Western Conference team anyway. That future pick would be used on some Euro who won’t ever come to the USA. Like Nikola Milutinov in 2015. It’s like, how many fukkin times do we need to play this record?
