I'm sure being an athlete and if smart financially being able to retire early with millions is so much worse than working a 9-5 job with no guaranteed security and having to retire at a much older age.

I could go back but what I do 4 days a week is much more reaching then what I did 12 hours a day 6 days a week, don't get me wrong i loved the bad with the good. I'll just say especially when the directors of the programs and the curriculum as well as the administrative staff who create and coordinate the programs you (we, I) was supposed to handle directly with these black youth, it was a fukking nightmare.

Its not really trivial, there were house slaves that were happy in the house sleeping in a bed, eating food that was adequately prepared, now were they eating off masters plate? hell no and they werent getting scraps. These NBA players arent getting scraps, (they are legitimately getting good money, no one is arguing that) but let Lebron tell ESPN that when he retires he plans to own a team, let Kobe, Lebron, Jordan, Magic, and 6 other nikkas try to buy teams and see what happens....in fact let some wealthy black people who have nothing to do with sports buy a NBA team, hell plenty of owners weren't players or have affiliations with the sport, they are just rich and its cool to own shyt. I'll tell you who won't like that right off the bat.
People aren't mad that nba players are getting money, they are just tired of that being the top. I want to see more black owners of NBA teams. Black general managers, etc. Same with the NFL too. There are black coaches, (people still get mad when one is hired, but claim it isn't about race but winning percentage because after all you make more money when you win).
They are more free, however you gotta look at it, even McDonalds has basic benefits, an HR rep and networking through firms if you want to invest your 401K and manage your money, whether you choose to do that or not is up to you. You'd figure with more money, a lot more of these guys would have even better resources, but they don't. Which is why a lot of them end up broke.
I'll clarify, a person who makes 12 million a year is in no way by himself more built to handle his money than someone who makes 12 thousand a year, however the resources should be better.
So these guys accomplish their dream and they're making millions now and you're saying don't be too happy? Breh cut it out and be happy they used their gift to get out of the hood and do something positive
