no its not acceptable that's crazy but u have to start somewhere

starting "somewhere" should have been when blacks were begging to be integrated into their society/schools/neighborhoods etc. here we are 50 + years later and look at the number of black players vs the number of black owners. why should blacks settle for "minority owner" or "limited partner" when these teams/industries would immediately collapse without black men participating?

at this point with all of the wealth generated by blacks and such little ownership it should be obvious that its designed to be that way, period.

and how u calling me a c00n when im saying that blacks should strive for ownership in industries we already dominate, such as sports and music :dwillhuh:

I'm sure there's as much if not more successful black men that don't play sports than those that do. You just don't hear about them since sports is entertainment and that's the ones you hear more about. But there are plenty of doctors and lawyers and businessmen out there. Even on here, I know a lot of you guys are successful even with that I.T. field. Makes no sense to compare the draft to slavery when these players are earning millions to play a game, yet have more influence on kids then let's say a teacher. Maybe that's why you feel the way you do. Kids look up to athletes and entertainers so they gravitate towards that. But that's the way society is built these days. Media gonna promote the stars that give them ratings. You can't blame these athletes or the owners of the teams. Those players that are smart and not foolishly wasting their money, will have better opportunities after they finish playing. I'm sure it's easier to get a job with a team as a coach if you were s player before. And then who knows from there.

What's your point....? Surely you don't think the bolded applies to NBA/NFL draft...... that would be an intellectual fail

ha, your low level ass isnt keeping up w the owners so i guess it means ownership doesnt matter to you.

lol so you're basically saying that you'd be ok being a slave as long as history remembers u lol. that doesnt surprise me. u let a white boy call u a c00n and a bedwench to ur face. eat a dikk.

Look at you spaz out over the fact I called you and your point retarded.

And even funnier how you try to make the leap that because I said no one gives a shyt about the owners of SPORTS teams that black people should not be concerned with owning anything outside the realm of athletics which is far from the truth.

I hate to be this guy, but yeah while there are points to be made about the over glorification on sports over academia in America and the fukkery that takes places within lthe NCAA and professional leagues. you mogs are just coming off bitter as fukk that these dudes managed to live out their dreams (which the arguement could be made for those outside of entertainment as well) while you sit in a cubicle perturbed working for some who gives a shyt company.

Some of these dudes have gon on to do and contribute to great causes from donating to schools to simply showing up to hangout with sick kids, but nah their slaves according to the faceless nobodies with positive reps on the coli :mjlol:

And I say this as a dude who literally wipes tables and picks up dishes from entitled tourists, if anyone should really be mad it should be me, but I digress I love to see my people do well in whatever field of their choosing. :blessed:

The issue I really had with the draft was the constant exposing of some of the players' backstories. Blasting their homelessness, custody issues, parent's incarceration. It just seemed kind of tacky.
If anyone did a simple google search on these players, they'd know. Plus some of these players have done short documentaries or what have you on their upbringing. Plus commentators in games say these things. Like about Kris Dunn and his mother passing away, going to prison, him and older brother being homeless as children for years until they found their father. Labissiere from Kentucky being from Haiti and being affected by the earthquake. I knew all of that by watching their games and the commentators talking about it, or doing a simple google search on them.

entertainment is very low in the totem pole in the grand scheme of things. The man is playing games with entertainers by giving yu fame and riches

They love to sell the story of the poo helpless knee grow. ESPN is the worse when it comes to this.....that is why I don't watch the NFL pregame shows my more because of this.

God forbid a brotha didn't grow up poor or in a two parent neighborhood or else they don't know what to talk about with them.

Another fukked up thing is they love these dudes to do impressions or dance for them. Sick is really sickening.
