Are you honestly blaming Russ for blowing that 3-1 lead because it was easily a tag team effort betweem him and KD

At least KD's defense was responsible for getting them there...He just wore down offensively.

People act like Russ wasn't 5-15 with 5 turnovers in the 2nd half of Game 6.

This is the fukking point guard, who's job is to run the offense and get everyone involved, shooting more than everyone else and having more turnovers, but people like to blame solely KD as if it was his fault they collapsed.

Was you not around for the years of 03-2010? :francis: They wanted a certain guy to play with no other person on his team that could create their own shot with a lame duck coach for 7 years

Maybe it was because he was from there idk:yeshrug:

But the "do it the right way card" will get pulled

Nah to be honest there was no way to leave

If he asked for a trade .... backlash
If he complained .... backlash
There was no why to leave peacefully

I know he left in a bad way looking back but I still think he did think it would be to the level it was

That man was 24 been there his entire life making that area money sinc he was 15 I think he must have thought hey I want to try something else like a kid out of high school or collage

He must have thought hey they say they love me I want to try something new for myself they will understand

And he did and :francis:

It with Russel I see that the hurt if he left would be bad also he is all they got it's not like free agents want to come there

For starters, it's been like 50 games. Ain't like the nikka been at this for some years. If you look at teams that lost a player of KDs caliber over the last couple decades, those teams are usually pretty bad off that first year. This squad is most likely gonna make the playoffs and he's most likely gonna make history and he's all but guaranteed the new super max. Doesn't sound too bad to me. Everybody ain't gonna win a chip and he really doesn't carry such pressure, especially after KD bounced like he did. And with the moves this FO has made, you never know...they might find a way to get the right pieces around him.

I don't know if feeling "sorry" is the way to put it.

I don't feel sorry but if you are an NBA fan aren't ROOTING for him you're probably and a$$hole and I hate you.

I'm not sad for Russ but I want to see him be rewarded not only for his "loyalty" but for his go hard with a squad that could really threaten the west.

Yeah you can say he stat padding but he ain't just putting on for himself and his stat line, he has been one of the most compelling things about the NBA this season where everybody pretty much assumes GS has it sewed up. He's giving people a reason to actually check for this shyt show and he's doing it with a team that isn't really built to his strengths (yet).

I see potential in a lot of the young guys too but they def need some spacing. They either gotta make some moves or a couple of these young cats gotta level up. Roberson is young enough to improve offensively, Sabonis is dope, the Spanish kid gives me that Sasha Vulchivch vibe when he was playing in LA with Kobe.

At worst these cats come back next year and are the same team. At best, they sign somebody or move Kanter and all those other young guys make improvements. The latter is much more likely.

There was a point where they had the same exact record they had at the point in the year without KD...they really aren't in that bad of a position, they just need snipers.
