Head nods or fist bumps is enough for me...you don't know where people hands have been...plus some be having dirty fingernails which gives me a reason to avoid shaking because it indicates me that they're not very hygienic.

The handshake being firm doesn't bother me much, it's just awkward. What I really don't like is when the other person miss altogether or they hold the handshake too long. My pops was the only one I was cool with doing the long handshake, nobody else.

I use to have a weak handshake a black dude I know whose a fashion consultant immediately corrected me about it.

Another dude one time immediately said shake my hand strongly man with laughs lol.

Now at the age of 29 that along with remembering peoples names are two things I do to make sure you have my respect.
