All 3 of these doom games are very different from each other.meh, they're 'well made' but the gameplay loop is so fukking boring. No one is going to be mentioning doom eternal in 10 years, hell they don't even mention it now. Doom and subsequently quake were revolutionary games when they came out, as video games & programmatically with shyt like Quake's fast inverse square root. I feel like a lot of these types of franchises stop innovating and are just nostalgia bait. Same thing goes for Halo

I will say, programming wise, Doom Eternal's optimization is pretty remarkable. I'm not married to my opinions for sure. I may need to go give Eternal a retry.
PlayStation gave me doom 2016 a while back and I bought the doom bundle on Xbox since it had all the other stuff. Get on this stuff. I’m mad I’m as late to the party as I am.Ive been meaning to play the previous dooms cause my boy told me they fire. Might try them and then get jnto this
