You gotta consider who's making this list...compare canibus to g-rap....bis has words, he's a wordsmith, but the nikka is not someone who's going to ride beats or come with some innovative patterns. Look at a lot of the emcees he named, they are basically his kids.

that is a copout to me because ok does eminem come with innovative rhyme patterns it is all ways come with the same abab rhyme pattern.

The is NO rapper who has ever released an album (to sell 50K copies or more) who can say he/she is a better lyricist than Canibus...

Are these so called lyricists who claim to be better than Canibus ever written a rhyme like "Poet Laureate 2"...
