NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
none of that shyt was better than ssep.

I doubt nikkaz owned it at all.
when it dropped.
for real for real.
as well.
I doubt most people did at all.

yet people will use the jayz revise history decoder system 2000.
to rewrite history though.

it is just like someone trying to tell me they own the blackstar ten inch marketing vinyl.

when i know they probably do not from that same time.
nikkaz forget.
I actually reviewed those albums in real time.
I actually STILL OWN THOSE FIRST DAY RELEASES TO those albums.
ON vinyl if available to tape or Cd.
FROM the day those albums dropped.

this is in general.
so do not take the comments as personal.

I can not take any of you nikkaz reviews or comments as real.

As i know the real and i know nikkaz was not even around like that.

if they were it would not be the way it is.

nikkaz in here trying to defend nikkaz who not all the way thorough culturally in their pillar at the end of the day.
then, when they have not done the work.

they comE with a witch hunt.
I see the issue is fans really not in a pillar for real.
or part of hiphop actual culture for real. If they did.

there would not be a discussion at this point.
as they would have dug in the crate and have knowledge of self. Which i know they do not have. or it would be illustrated in every post. Plus prescient to uphold the culture in their self of being whole heartedly.
which i never read past my own posts.
all i read are inferior toys.
who will not and not fully dedicated to a pillar of discipline. Let alone being in one for real.

as everything toys discuss already has an edict in place.
at this point Jamar is being one of the narcissist his music is against. which is why all that religious war doctrine based rhetoric in his music. Is just color based content and talking points.
not a real evolution of culture and skill.
as Jamar can not talk.
as he souled't out.
in timeline way after the people he is critical of.
plus never made this dedication to skills.
amidst the actual technical revolution in the actual pillar of emcee'n.

thus subscribing to ol school way of thought phased out semantics.
not progressive mores and norms of new school way of thought ideals.
as Jamar is not that skilled. That is why at the end of the day. Most nikkaz is all talk.

they not really bout it at what they say they are.

plus want to create this fake field of play devoid of talent execution culture and knowledge. that use a counter culture to hip hop and it's edicts. ol or new school way of thought.
all cause their shyt is lacking in regards to.
dedication to themselves, pillar, the pillar'a full skill base and their culture.

be your pillar or stfu.

I 100% agree so technically id say "When disaster Strikes" aint really a classic... because there's a few songs hard to make it through on it.
Here's a good question and debate... would MF Doom have a classic album? or does this make him just a cult figure? because I cant picture
most people in the world listening to madvillian and thinking how crazy it is. I think we agree on whats really a classic...another one would be
rhythm-al-ism by DJ quik... its one of my favorite albums of all time. But I'd say its only 85-90% classic, towards the end he throws on vibey, filler songs.
I think it sort of sucks because both in his and Busta's case, they could have replaced songs easily for a better disc.. but technically speaking :yeshrug:
some tracks are skippable.
Will reply by soon. Dope post

Twista (Adrenaline Rush is overrated, lezby reality here)

Fabolous

Beanie Sigel (The B Coming was close but not quite there, first two albums had some flaws)
Good answers. Can't believe I didn't think to say Beans.

No doubt. Also on Extinction Level Event has one of the hardest opening runs of any album.

Would MF Doom have a classic album? I think Madvillainy is a classic. I really do. I think it's definitely an underground/indie classic. So if I can explain...I don't know if you took someone that mostly was listening to Nas, Jay, Snoop, Dre, Lox, etc at the time and bumped them Madvillainy if they'd think it's classic. However, I think it's respected by enough people in the lane of hip-hop that it deserves to be considered a classic, even if certain people don't "get it".

I was one of those people BTW. When Madvillainy dropped in 04 I was totally plugged into Mobb, Lox, Nas, Jay, G-Unit, and Rocafella. That was the type of shyt I liked. As far as indie hip-hop went I liked Little Brother and Justus League, but I heard Madvillainy when it dropped, and 2 of my friends were saying that shyt was classic. My homie Chaundon from the Justus League even rapped over the Fancy Clown instrumental on a mixtape he dropped, and I (at the time) liked his version better.

I didn't appreciate Madvillainy until a few years later when I really listened to it with more of an open mind. But yeah it's definitely a classic I think. Arguably the most impactful indie rap album of the 00's.

Breh...I was listening to ELE this weekend and Busta did in that album is unquestionably one of the most impressive feats in Hip Hop. The beats this dude was rhyming on and how he was rhyming was :mindblown:

I’d say he has a classic in Madvillany that’s pretty much undisputed

I don’t want to turn this into a producer thread but this was my introduction to Nottz doing the first three beats on there… Three classic bangers back to back

:wow:
