I said AZ but stupidly Doe or Die slipped my mind as I was writing it. That’s my bad. I think I’m the only person that said AZ

Lol, you good fam :pachaha:. I saw AZ's name pop up and instantly was like :martin:

But then had to think about it :jbhmm:

Because the very first thing that popped in my head was 9 Lives, which I love but... :hubie:

And I love Doe or Die but its one of those albums like E.L.E. or Word of Mouf where I think its classic but I could "entertain" the argument against it... :manny:

But then again, if GRODT, The Documentary and Port of Miami are classics, Doe or Die is better than all of those so AZ in there too. :ehh:

Royce has 2 ( Death is Certain and Bar Exam 2)
Canibus has 3 (2000 BC, Mic Club, Rip the jacker)
Joe Budden has 2 ( Mood Muzik 2, Mood Muzik 3.5, Some Love Lost/Some Love)

I do think Method man has 2 but i understand why people don't regard it as so. Judgement Day is a fire LP to me and Blackout is a 5 mic LP.

Come on fam... I own and enjoy all of those albums, but NONE of them are classics.

Would you truly put a single one of those albums on part with The Chronic, Reasonable Doubt or The Diary?

Mic club is a classic for Bis. Not those other two imo

Thread is bananas.

I'll lower the bar from classic to great album though, because some albums that are great some people call them classic. For example I don't think Em got a classic, but his 2nd album was dope enough to argue classic so I leave it be.

With that said for as dope as Canibus and Luda were, I feel like we never got a great/borderline classic from them. You can add Fab too. Jada at least gave us a classic lox album with We Are the Streets.

agree with canibus but i think luda delivered on a borderline classic..the only thing with jada and the rest of the lox are classic songs..none of their albums, group or solo, are classic to me..fab had he not went the route he went..could have delivered a grimey lyrical masterpiece..but his retail albums were so trash to me
