Premier and Pete were still alive when Jada did his solos... shyt, Premier got a track on the first one. Jada just approached his albums like formulas- get the radio single, get the West Coast song, get the Down South track, get the Timbaland track, get the Neptunes track, make sure to add the street songs, etc.,etc... the 'Life After Death' approach that so many other rappers suffered from tryin' to duplicate because the albums came off so contrived. He just was never quite able to pull off that classic that people wanted him to... closest he ever came was Kiss of Death.

Only producers doing something special were the soul heads. If Jada did a record with Just Blaze and Kanye it woulda been better then the blueprint
