Double Talk Dave didn't like the WWE Hype Of Lesnar on Raw

They did a feature on Lesnar winning at UFC. It’s good that they did it, but then they got completely carried away. They called him the best fighter in the world. The problem with that is a large percentage of the WWE audience watched the fight and knows that’s bullshyt so why even say it. Next they said he dominated all three rounds, when he actually lost the second and didn’t dominate the first. Then they called him the greatest combat athlete in this country’s history. Yes, like he’s better than Dan Gable, Cael Sanderson, Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Robinson. There’s exaggerations and hype and there’s just killing the credibility of the announcer, and in this case, one of the big issues is that the announcers have no credibility and that’s why they have such a hard time getting personalities and angles over to where people really care about them. This was as bad as when Striker claimed Swagger was a Heisman Trophy candidate. If nobody saw it they could say it and get away with it, but why do you want to tell people outright who have seen it that you’re completely full of shyt and carnies.

Hunt clearly won that second round, not as much as Brock surprised in the first, though. Stuffed takedowns and had more clean strikes.

Then, he got mauled in the third.

Lesnar definitely isn't a true HW championship contender, but he has a chance to put it together just yet. He trained well, looked in great shape, and stuck to a solid game plan to turn a competitive match into a showcase of Mark Hunt's hard head.

They billed him like that when he returned to WWE coming off of two dominating losses in a row, and people bought because he's fukking Brock Lesnar.

Dave is just being straight up moronical. This shyt is no different than when Hogan was the greatest world champion ever 3 months into his first reign, or how Taker was being billed as the greatest superstar in WWF history in 1997.
