Roman was the main event in the most attended Wrestlemania of all time. By your definition it makes him the best now. Or at least the most watched.

You cant always give the main event all the credit and this past edition proves that.
Collectively no one has headlined more manias
No wrestler has had more great matches rhen cena year in and year out with a varying amount of opponents
Yall just wont be able to admit it until he retires

I think Meltzer's right, you can promote effectively without using grandiose rhetoric nobody believes. In fact, that kind of rhetoric probably hurts the crediblity of the commentary for the long term.
Ding Ding Ding. The game has to evolve with the times. If the hype makes everyone in attendance and watching on TV roll their eyes, it's not doing a good job.

John Cena literally is the greatest WWE Champion, though. Kayfabe and IRL. He's had more reigns than anyone, and was on top on WWE's single most profitable year ever. He's also been the top guy for a decade straight, which is not only longer than Austin/Rock's time on top by a considerable margin, but longer than both combined. And longer than Hogan's. And Bruno's. Not only longer than Hogan's, but he averaged more TV/PPV matches per year than Hogan did his entire 1984-1993 run.

Matches were only as good as the person he was in there with. You have a strong point but its still debatable.

Its hard to compare to Hogan or Austin due to the move to bigger arenas and Cena being on top so long was more due to Vince not wanting to run into another new generation lull. Cena is fine but he never caused a boom period like Hogan or Austin. He just rode the wave already created until it died out.

Nowhere near as credible or as known as Bruno, Hogan, Rock, Savage, Flair, or even little Bret Hart.

Bruno held the belt for 7 years str8...kayfabe wise, thats like being Ali and Sugar Ray Robinson at the same time. Cena cant compare to Rock and Austin because he didnt have a WCW or ECW to face and they broke those companies by sell outs, being more watched, and being more influential than all of them put together. Cena used to copy Rocky all the time in 07. Youre just a kid and u forgot that but i didnt. Cena could never replace the original which was why they ran to him at WM 27 and 28 to begin with. Cena couldnt lead or carry on his own and fell off.

Fans used to cheer Umaga and Wade Barrett over Cena and youre comparing him to real legends because Vince lets him win most of his main event matches? U should have more sense than that.
