Thing is he needs someone who can do the show when he's out of town. If DT.com was still the main place they streamed from than he could just take those days off. Twitch subscriptions drop if you take time off. They would normally be around 1200 subs but they miss some shows and they go under 900 then have to work their way back up.

He also needs someone there if Martin is out of town.

That's why Goodwin was so valuable. Korey hasn't been able to find anyone of his caliber since he left.

Everyone is liking Marcos so he might be the eventual Julien replacement.

Since DT’s inception Korey has said that he wanted younger/new personalities on DT. I don’t blame him for trying. The Goodwin, Ray, Girts, and Tommy era will be missed.
