I loved how he destroyed Ron Mercer's career with one play:

Sure, you can have a few games that may resemble what Jordan did for his entire career... But that's it fam ..

THAT'S what these younger cats won't ever grasp. The sh!t you see Bron, Bean, Durant, etc do for a few games or a season or two are things that Jordan did for his CAREER.....at higher rate on top of that :ohlawd:

Bulls @ Knicks - 1995. Jordan's 55 point comeback - YouTube

:to: need a time machine to go back and watch this live. the realization i will never see him play live again is a truly sad one.

:whew: That game never gets old to me, watch it whenever its on espn classic or nba tv yearly.

The dude mentally is prob one of the goats even if he didnt have the physical skill. Those games he put up in 03 was ALL the definition of muscle memory and just mastering his craft:lawd:

But as a gm:mjpls: if he had any eye for talent to PLAY with he would of done more behind the scenes with that Wizards team so he could of got one more playoff run.

All these juice cleanses and yoga classes are part of the new generation. MJ was a hard living dude, you can see it on his face now, dude used to go ham on and off the court. That's part of what makes him the greatest, he played as hard as he worked, maybe even harder.

I was blessed to watch the goat from 93 to 2003

:blessed:

I truly am thankful I got to watch him growing up. No joke. It can be redundant but... 100% the GOAT.

I remember when his pops died. I've never felt so bad for someone I didnt know. Random.... but he's part of most of our lives. Havent thought about how much of an effect he had on my athletic career in a while. Good thread. Homage.

Those of us who grew up watching Jordan are truly :blessed: When he was doing his thing there was never anybody questioning him or debating who the best player was. The man was on a completely different level.

As a younger cat, I used to hate Jordan. I know....the errors of youth:snoop:

I was a huge Sonics fan and....and he denied Payton and Kemp a ring.

But with age comes experience. Jordan's whole career is something that will NEVER be reproduced. He did shyt that I've never seen before. He had that killer instinct that I've yet to see from any player today. He wasn't on some post game buddy buddy shyt that I see from these soft ass players now. shyt, I don't think he even liked his teammates. Jordan wanted to demoralize your team, your city, you, your family, and your future children just so you would know to never forget that he was better than your favorite player.

And he married a snowflake and makes it clear he don't fukk with no nikkas.:mjpls:

Jordan is the GOAT but I hate when nikkas say, "no one will ever do what Jordan did". Brehs, someone better always comes along. Whether it takes 5 years, 10 years or 50 years someone will be better than Jordan one day. Humans PROGRESS as time goes on.. Not to take anything away from Jordan I just hate when yall go too far.
