He needs to step away. Collins is a coach that is good for a couple years, gets you into the postseason, and then his message just becomes tiring for a team.

He'll be back on TNT next season.

why would ANYONE want to coach once u get a tv studio gig??? those TNT guys only work like 1 or 2 times a week max, and get paid well. coaches are on call 24/7, plus travel, plus practice, games and all the bullshyt that comes around with trying to manage 15 personalities, egos and their playing time.

he got plenty of reg season burn, but keep in mind he was a rookie, in a lockout-shortened season, with no training camp, and he obviously wasn't showing the production he has this year...which is on a really bad team anyway.

Na man he buried him on the bench it was a disgrace... especially in the playoffs

Collins is a shyt talent evaluator and bad for young players

Shoulda been fired a year ago

I get what your saying but for some, coaching is the dream job. Doug just doesn't seem to deal with controversy well enough.

:stopitslime:

Collins went out and got Kwame Brown, Royal Ivey, Damien Wilkins and Nick Young personally and pushed for the Bynum trade saying specifically that "The team maxed out last year".

Not to mention he sat Vucevic damn near all of last year because he wasn't ready :duck:

Face it breh the guy was not right for this team from the start.

The competition. There's nothing like competing, and then winning. Most of these guys are former players, so they've been competing their whole lives. I can see how studio life doesn't scratch that itch.
