For those who didnt blow or recieve thier tax return money yet (me). Now would be a good time to hold it until this fall stops and reinvest on the upswing.



Edit: was told by my pops just now that was a dumb move. Said I should've never decreased it , due to the fact that having a smaller contribution takes away from the opportunity to buy other stocks at a lower price . I'll take care of that after I pick up my son from school today.

I was about to lay into you that you made a bad decision but looks like your pops got into you first.


Also you dudes need to stop viewing your retirement accounts like they are penny stocks or something. Make very modest changes or leave that shyt alone unless you're retiring soon. . Otherwise just ride it. If anything any contributions coming in now will actually net you a bigger amount on the rebound.
