But you can help not being a dikk to the people who you live around...just a thought:yeshrug:

I don't care obviously. It will be what it is.

But I'll match the energy being brought. That's not a friendly letter. That's conflict being brought, because the next thing is they'll run to the management because they hear a floorboard creak.

So we're already at war. I might as well give you what you want. You start it, I'll finish it.

We''ll just get there quicker than you wanted.

I would have stopped reading it at the first sentence and got to stomping.

This is an apartment. You can't have it your way. This is how it is. I can't help they were cheap and used wooden floors instead of reinforcing it.

That's why I don't live in apartments anymore. People have to understand you're not the only person living there. If you don't like it, get a house, that's where your peace and quiet is. It's always going to be something.

She was respectful.

To be honest, if that's your normal walk and you arent putting extra oomph into it - then its neither right nor wrong if you are considering her feelings or not.
:yeshrug:

What if she worked 3rd shift and asked you to be mindful of your steps from 6am to 6pm?

What if you worked 3rd shift and slept during the day and was awake at night normally?

The 'what ifs' never end, at what point does it stop? I agree with @Chrishaune for the most part (not the being an a$$hole deliberately, tho :mjlol: but I understand).

This is the very nature of apartment living!
Surprise, surprise - you heard signs of life from the 'house' of a LIVING person separated by 6 inches of wood or drywall. How did you think this would go!? :dwillhuh:

Solution? Get a house.

Last time I lived under someone in an apartment, I had a noise issue. I dont think I ever left a note though because I was scared of who lived in the apartment.

It was a couple, and not even one week after they had moved in, I could hear them fighting. After one got done beating on the other (you could hear the screaming and crying), 30 minutes or so later, you would hear the mattress squeaking and the loud moaning. I was perplexed.

This went on for months; they truly seemed crazy to me, always fighting then fukking. Sometimes I'd hear the one crying while the abuser walked around singing gospel very loudly; he was very heavy-footed and his voice would echo all over the apartment.

One day they came out of the apartment, and I saw it was actually two men...who I thought had been a woman screaming all that time was really a man - very petite and cute. The other man was quite large and slovenly. I looked at him and was wondering why these two were a couple in the first place. Lookswise, they didn't seem equally yoked at all, but I digress.

One day, I saw the smaller one land past my patio railing. He had jumped off the second floor patio upstairs to get away from his boyfriend. Early morning, afternoon or nighttime, they didn't care - they kept the antics going.

There was no way in hell I was going to confront these folks, and even if I did, I would not have known what to say. I figured, if the big one would regularly swing on his own boyfriend/ lover, there is no telling what he would do to a woman he didn't know.
That ain’t nothing but that good ol ghetto love…bussy edition :dame:
