i got a friend who puts his inside so he can watch his dog while he's away from home. Can actually give them commands and stuff too.
"hey! get off the couch! put down the shoe." type shyt. Seems quite handy for him. but other than that i don't see any reason to have them inside. you not a supermarket. don't need to catch shoplifters in the act, you can just assume any trespassers are stealing.

I have one inside to monitor shyt going on, especially with my kids, anyone u have babysitting your child etc. There's plenty reasons you can have cameras inside. And they can be rotated faced another direction if you really want, i personally try my best to secure all connections in and out of my network.
