Nah, you're missing the point. Whatever group you proclaim yourself to be apart of, you will always be judged by the stereotype of that group. Thinking of oneself as 'belonging' to a race or creed is one of the biggest thrusts behind the phenomenon that is racism. If you're gonna identify with anyone, do it on the basis of character traits, not physical traits or one shared belief. Malcolm learned this lesson the hard way, let's not let his struggle be in vain breh.

The treaties of 1865 and 1866 where Indians where suppose to share what they got with freedman and black Indians along with those two groups receiving tax exemptions and etc (The fact that white accepted Indians and Indians had slaves)

The Adams- Onis treaty where Spain gave the US florida and said the the citizens (slaves and indians) of florida should get land and civil rights.

lol, what makes you think you have to defend MLK?

'Cause my previus post echoed some of his thoughts and I was called naive and shyt. It's the cool thing to do nowadays, calling MLK a c00n and naive. There was so much power and insight behind his vision though.

I feel you, I can't necessarily knock MLK mainly because they want us to remain divided on all issues and it seems silly to shyt on MLK when his efforts did a lot for us. I think it was just the way you put it, when people are discussing the need for more solidarity among their own ain't nobody tryna hear that other shyt when its been tried already. If other groups should be involved, it should be as paying consumers of black owned businesses in black neighborhoods. Unity among all black people doesn't mean complete separation from everyone else, it just means the efforts are being made to make us truly "equal" in this, and every other society.

Bruh understand that this rational is rooted in your attempt to overcome obstacles that you've consciously / sub-consciously recognized as being persistent, subjective, and efficient in its destructive ability. You are trying to remove some of the core principles, like racial profiling, that is used by those of us who set up the obstacles to hinder progress for those of us who are the target. But history is an early warning system, it suggests that for every core principles you eliminate, another will be used in its place to maintain that obstacle
