The only reason I'm ok with this trash album existing was that it put me up on my favorite new artist, Anderson Paak, and no shock Animals is the best song on the album, his verse particular carries it

I really like this album. I posted my version on here when it first came out that I think is even better cause I cut out all the skits and stuff that slows the album down and it goes straight to the music.

All in a day's work.

That was back when a rapper needed guns way more than a stylus
And that was back when I felt like rappers was true mothafukkin' riders
Or even back in the day when I was a fukkin' youngster
shyt I was still sayin', "fukk the police"
Born and raised in the belly of the beast
I had a dream that we was at peace
But I was so wrong.. so wrong
Y'all too wrapped up in the bullshyt and bias
Now reality TV talks about pulpits and choirs
Some of these hoes give less than a fukk when they runnin' their life story by us

This was a good album, definitely. It wasn't a Dr Dre album though... And i think that's where most of the criticism comes from. No one can act like this album isn't solid in terms of beats and rhymes. At the same time it just came and went and won't add much to Dre's legacy, if at all

I listened to it once all the way thru when it dropped and haven't listened to it again. But The Chronic and 2001 are no doubt classics in my opinion.
