Out of 20?It’s an enjoyable album. Not in the level of his first 2 but that wasn’t my expectation
would give it a solid 8
YOU A DAMN LIE......INSTRUMENTATION, DROPS, BREAKS, LAYERING- ALL SOME OF THE BEST EVER IN HIP-HOP HISTORY. OF COURSE IT'S A SONIC MASTERPIECE, BUT IT'S FAR MORE THAN THAT.

Without the factors that's it's lacking, all that shyt u interjected, means nothing. But I agree with you on the sonics etc. The sound quality is epic. BUT IT'S STILL WACK.

HE OPTED TO USE IT AS A PROMOTIONAL TOOL IN ITSELF FOR THE MOVIE STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON
THATS WHAT DID THE ALBUM IN, ALONG WIT THE FACT THAT MOST OLD SCHOOL DRE FANS WENT IN EXPECTING A GANGSTA RAP ALBUM ABOUT CHRONIC AND LOWRIDERS....
INSTEAD, WE GOT SOMETHING TOTALLY DIFFERENT- AN INTROSPECTIVE DRE WHO CAME WIT A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT SOUND, WHILE STILL REMAINING BRILLIANT MUSICALLY
IF YOU ERASE YOUR PRECONCEIVED NOTIONS AND DUST IT OFF FOR AN HONEST LISTEN, YOU WILL APPRECIATE IT FOR THE GREAT PIECE OF ART THAT IT IS.

If it was dope, i wouldn't have to erase shyt. This album is aftermath presents pt 2.
Idgaf about Anderson Paak, don't listen to him at all. Don't know anyone whom does..
You can SAY this or that is dope, but none of the melodies, verses have grown since then to mean anything, nor did they mean anything when it dropped.
There's no beats on there that can rival
G Thang, dre day, nikka wit a gun, doggy dogg world, ain't no fun, shiznit, in da club, I ain't the one, dope man, grand finale, funky enough, always into something, we want eazy, boyz n da hood, etc etc

YOUR PROBLEM SHINES IN YOUR POST.....YOURE COMPARING IT TO SONGS FROM PERHAPS THE GREATEST ALBUM IN HIP-HOP HISTORY. SO NO, ITS NOT A CHRONIC AND THE SONGS DONT EXACTLY MATCH THE ONES YOU LISTED... BUT IF WE HELD EVERY ALBUM TO A CHRONIC STANDARD, THEN NOTHING IS CLASSIC.

If i had bad taste I'd be on here acting like COMPTON was a great album instead of putting it in its rightful spot, many levels beneath Dre's series of great projects

I could never get into this album and Im a big West coast fan...best thing about it is the mixing....Dre who had a great rap delivery in his prime sounded awful
the best song is the last one that played at the end of the movie credits but I read somewhere that it was somewhat of an older track so I'm not surprised, Dre should have rapped that way the whole album
