Dr. Dre not dropping an album in 95 is criminal. That was his peak

We can only judge from the projects he's released and in my opinion The Chronic was his best work in 92. It had no skippable song, outside those couple dumb skits that wasted what could've been an extra short track of more music.

It's a record that you can own as a music collector in a vinyl format and not have a buyers remorse. 2001, while it obviously had bangers, some of those filler songs were kinda meh.

Maybe The Coli can fund a J-Flexx/Papoose collab album produced by Sam Sneed

Instead of The Firm we'll call it The Dense

I think someone on SOHH said this but Dre should’ve setup a booth a Nate Dogg’s funeral, that was the last chance for Detox

I think U cant C me was also supposed to be on the album

I wish Dre will release all the demo fro that era
That's originally slated to be one of the singles off Dogg Food but they took it off to give it to Pac, theres a radio version for it with alt clean lyrics in addition to the explicit version.

Dre doesn't have his contributions present on demos so I'm guessing you mean you wish he would swap out drums and mix demos by Daz, Sam Sneed, Stu B Doo, Erotic D etc?

With the help of Sam Sneed on the beat and Snoop still being strong it would've been better than the Chronic and the chronic 2001

Dre was at his peak

:wow:

Idk if it would've been better than The Chronic (top 5-10 album to me), as I prefer Dre's 92-93 sound over the 95-96 sound, the earlier sound was a little harder. But a 1995 album would've been fukking instant classic LAVA.

Dre was already planning his exit from Death Row at that time

Yep, I was going to say blame Suge for him not dropping The Chronic 2 in 95/96 I remember they had a little thing in the AEOM booklet saying Chronic 2 was coming soon and a few other albums
