The the amount of 'time which lapsed : along with ' internet leaks ' killed detox

The feedback to certain 'leaked songs ' which were left on the scrap heap killed any.momentum dre had when it kame to releasing this project

He had flunkeys from interscope dictatin what was hot n' dre wasnt hittin' coz those scraps didn't gather the feedback these dweebs expected online

Based on I need a doctor and that kush song, both were trash. It's a different game today, people don't care about that type of music or pianos and 1000 different beats playing the background like those leaked songs. He knows the game, and doesn't want to undersell because people would call it a flop then. The music is different today and he was honest about it.

Yo that T.I reference track with Kobe had one of the dopest sounding beats ever, I would pay $100 for a CDQ of that shyt

Man it's not even fair. I still play this song all the time. Everytime I played it at a party or even just showing people they all made the :merchant: :whoo::ooh::krs::noah:

Even though it's old I wouldn't be mad if that was the intro to this just switch it from detox to Compton

shyt still sounds ahead of its time.mans T.I fukking murdered this shyt

Not sure why anybody's shocked... I knew Detox wasn't droppin' when he said "look out for Detox" on Game's album and then it was nowhere to be found over a year later. Them scraps that got leaked weren't that good, brehs. He's probably got a GANG of bangers somewhere in there, but even if he did, they probably woulda been old by the time he was ready to drop the album. The longer it took to get done, the more obvious it was that the shyt wasn't comin' out.

of course it wasnt.

2001 wasnt even that good, so why anticipate a follow-up from a 50 year old rapper thats not a rapper?
