He used to have this radio show on Apple Music and time from time would play these unreleased joints people would freestyle over, wish he would release that, shyt was flames

:bryan:

You right though from the 80s to present day he is still here that is legendary but it's been a while I've heard a beat that slaps. I will try out some of those projects you recommended. Props.

Dre could of been a GOAT but chose to live a sheltered life because he's a closeted homosexual that can't stand the tiniest bit of criticism or conflict (unless it involves him beating up females) :francis:

his ear for music inevitably took a dive as a result
The man gave us countless classics...if a couple women needed to be pushed down flights of stairs along the way, so be it.

So many of his post-2005 production ranges from mediocre to flat out bad. He’s obviously had good stuff with Kendrick and I liked what he did for Bishop Lamont, but outside of that was a lot of stinkers. A bunch of awful beats for Eminem and some trash for TI. Then there was that dumpster Compton album that had like 2 good beats on there.

Even the leaks he had after for detox and other artists were dope. He did a beat for stat quo in 07 which wasn’t anything to write about and then 8 years later, UK rapper Giggs uses it for a single and it becomes a classic UK hip hop joint (talking the hardest). So indirectly he was still doing it

I like the Kush joint and a lot of the Compton so he was still doing crazy stuff

Edit: in terms of official releases yeah 2006 was still good for the Jay and Busta albums

I don't remember the exact years but I know this was after 2005:

He killed that Busta big bang album I
killed all his beats on that snoop album
Had the hustler beat on Nas album
Game Hard Liquor
Piano beat for Young buck, can't remember the name think it was going somewhere, had a girl sining on the hook
had a few solid joints on Curtis
Murdered Relapse
50 Cent I get it in
Alicia Keys song wit 50 I think
The beats for cuban Linx II
shyt popped off with TI
Dope piano beat for Obie Trice , think it was old though can't remember
Killed that song for that Xzibit album
had some dope cuts with Bishop Lamont (what happened to homie ?)

So all that above was maybe 06 to 2012, maybe a little later but can't be by much

Where Dr Dre style really took a left turn to me started with that Compton album, that over produced, and over vocal cut style, idk how to describe it ... its like a ultra polished style ... Compton did have a few good cuts though specially that Diary song

What's been fire from him recently ?????

He used to have this radio show on Apple Music and time from time would play these unreleased joints people would freestyle over, wish he would release that, shyt was flames

He did all of Marsha Ambrosis album Casablanca, he killed that

And then all of those songs he did for Grand Theft Auto

Unfortunately, that dreadful Missionary album sounds like its time for the old man to hang it up

But yeah I wouldn't say 05 ... I'd say up to like 2010, had some dope off and on shyt up until the Compton album too... what year was that ? 2016 ? idk

But considering he started in the 80's, most impressive

Yeah he was still good through to the end of the 2000s/2010

Again I think the Compton album is mostly good too
