Was and still is one of the best albums of all time. This album has had 20 years of longevity and still sounds good in the whip. Talk about standing the test of time.

I was in my 3rd year at Howard University when this album dropped. You can imagine back then how different things were promoting albums. I mean The Source Magazine and The Box were two of the best ways to promote back then.

I don't even remember there being big fanfare about this albums impending release..it was like one day "Nuthin' But a G Thang" was on the box..a few days later it was #1 video, and shortly after that the album dropped.

the rest as they say is history. An all time classic!

8 years old when it dropped, still got the original tape, words faded, cracks everywhere but still plays.
