Internet Ass Muhfukkas People are legit saying that if someone blows their cash that's on them so what else are we talking about here? That sounds like it's only about cash, and if families/future generations don't see any effect then "that's on them" for having an irresponsible recipient.

Us black folks needs to be on the same page with this. It's going to take a collective decision to figure out what can be done while also being realistic in what can be passed. If the country is in 32 trillion in debt no one is going to sign off on 14 trillion if this is the case. I'm just spit balling but how about the following things:

- Federal tax exemption. Black folks don't pay any federal taxes on any job they have
- federal grants with zero interest for black folks wanting to open a business. This is a one time shot only and a legit business plan is required. Company will need to make a profit within 5 years or else the money will need to be paid back. The reason for this stipulation is to prevent fraud
- carve out land that's owned by the federal government to black folks. Im sure this will be limited and probably in the middle of no where but building a community could be possible depending on what the feds actually own. I know they action out federal land that has oil to these companies to drill but not sure about the areas that don't have it that they own.
- Feds open up a IRA for every black person and contributes the max allowed. Probably add additional incentive for black people to add to it themselves for a greater return down the road. Allow them to access it by the time they hit 40yrs old without penalty. Anyone above 40 can just access the funds as it's deposited. I believe the max IRA is at 6k a year. The younger you are the more time it allows it to grow but if your currently 40 and above maybe they just can get more cash to make up for lost time. They can also add in that 401ks won't be taxed for the people that are retired. That should be a big help as well.
- black folks gets free trade and college education
- feds pay for 100% of any black person that gets approved for a franchise opportunity. Meaning if the initial cost is 1million to open up a McDonald's franchise the feds pay for it. Person will still have to qualify for whatever metrics McDonald's require such as liquid cash on hand but the initial cost would be covered.
- federal EBT card. Free food for life


I'm just spit balling it right now but a combination of these could be realistic instead of 350k for every person. I rather the money but let's be real with what can actually pass if not we won't ever get anything. The further we go into the harder it will be. Time is our enemy so the quicker we can figure this out the better chance we have.

It should be a tax credit applied over time.

I like the focus on repair, and that repair comes with constructive building over time. A tax credit over time could do that without destroying the economy.

Am thinking something like $10k annually adjusted for inflation over time.

And anyone surprised that they are angling for the fact that if any kind of reparative efforts are given out, it is doled out in the form of 'counseling' or some form of restricted fashion in which some controller gets to choose how the funds are distributed? They are setting it up to where if anything is ever given out, it gets dished out in a discretionary fashion and they will shift the rhetoric to let 'all minorities' get a piece.
