If its taking years to raise money for repairs, how is he gonna open a school and pay salaries of a full staff of teachers, groundskeepers, principal, asst principal, repairs/maintenance etc.

An alternative idea that was proposed to him by many people was that he should sell courses online aimed at black youth and parents. Dude could make bank off of selling online courses as I'm sure Africans across the diaspora would buy it. Sure he has haters but also a lot of admirers.

Sad to say but this school will never happen with Cashapp and Paypal donations. The fact he says he wont accept state funding means this alleged goal is 99.3% impossible
1. No HVAC, back taxes, major repairs

He’s only had the buildings for 3 years.
There are other Afrocentric schools. People who run these schools reached out to him but he rejected them.
Umar only speaks with his loyal donors. They are yes men/women and do not hold him accountable for fear of being booted from the circle. I know a few of them.
He spoke about this at a lecture. Said our kids deserve better than an online school. This was maybe 2016. Boy I bet he wishes he could do online now.

The moment that I realized that more humans than I gave credit for are, basically, mentally retarded, have priorities that are so out of whack that they can be considered dangerous, and are lost in the sauce in all facets of life, was the day the guy in your avatar got re-elected in 2004, even though by then his post 9/11 luster had worn off and it was already realized by most that he was ineffective at best and an idiot puppet at worst. I was in my 20s at the time and did that serve as an eye opener ever since.
So to see all these folks still supporting these hotep scam artists when ALL of their cards are on the table for everyone to see is unfortunately disconcerting but not at all surprising.
