Right. Just like dudes in here could see that he didnt have a phd too... like i said i understand the mistrust, but like with tariq's museum, most of those who could see didnt admit to being wrong, they just moved the goalposts and continued hating.

It's not about wanting him to fail. It's about recognizing how unrealistic and unsustainable certain proposals are and pointing it out.
I used to work part time as a Math tutor so I know quite a few things that go on in the education system. High quality education costs lots of money. Textbooks cost lots of money. Behavioral specialists cost lots of money. Counselors cost lots of money. PE and Music teachers cost lots of money. Maintenance costs lots of money. Security costs a lot of money. Technology costs a lot of money. Donations can't cover or sustain this. Even certain grants won't be able to cover this.
You can't treat education like the YMCA or Vacation Bible School if you're serious about offering a quality education alternative for children because, even if it does get finished somehow, the model isn't sustainable and will shut down in a few years. I've seen a few churches try to do what Umar's doing where they've opened up some schools that wounded up shutting down after a few years.
There's currently a slight trend with moneyed Black people trying to open up charter schools for Black children. Kanye even tried to do this with Donda Academy before c00ning his way out of its completion. Others like Lebron and Diddy have tried to as well. It's better to pressure people with the financial means to open up schools to try to push for this then people who live off of donations and speaking engagements like Umar.
