I don’t understand how people are in here still saying he’s not scamming. The school was supposed to be open 10 years ago. He’s been caught lying about how much money he raised multiple times. And after 10+ years there’s still no board or teachers. It’s just Umar asking for donations, spamming social media with his lecture tour dates and posting funny instagram lives.
He has been collecting money for this Hotep Hogwarts since 2010.
In all this time not ONE black boy has been taught a damn thing. Umar talks but accomplishes nothing tangible.

As someone in here mentioned, he will then need to raise money in order pay teachers, support staff, administrators/management, pay expenses, pay for supplies, pay for food, pay for transportation. I don't see how he will have the money for that. That's way too expensive.

Not to mention security. With the current climate he can not, under no circumstances, open up that "school" without proper security inside and outside the building.
