i agree kendrick droped a very commercially and critical successful album..it even got pitchfork album of the year...pitchfork caters mostly to the indie crowd so you know GKMC resonates with not just only hip hop hads

True I get your point. At the other end of the day even thought it's MTV, it's still a room full of black MTV employees voting on it, if you look at the list so far Em and Nicki are the only people to make it who aren't black males.
