Drake has been banned by a bunch of black podcasts and journalists.

Joe also said he isn't welcome on the JBP either

other than fodder to discuss, whats the point of banning someone you know wouldn't come under any circumstances

this is meaningless

Drake has a sense of humor I gotta give him that

I think doing softball fun content like this, is actually good for his brand

It's a nice change from degenerative gambling and the other streamers he talks to

Idk why some of yall thought this interview with this cac broad would be anything relevant. It’s like AK said, Drake don’t fukk with “hip hop media”. Not even Akademiks himself! One of Drake’s biggest glazers on earth. He’d rather go talk to Aiden. Drake is very insecure and is not trying to get pressed, even before the Kendrick battle.

Their tired of being Chatty Pattied to death and having their words misconstrued and taken out of context just for a chance at a soundbite going viral.

If Nas sat down with Angie Martinez right now, i’d BET a rather large amount of money she’d ask him endlessly about that bullshyt with Jim Jones (whose not even worth talking about) she wouldn’t talk about the Hip Hop 50 concert Nas and Mass Appeal spearheaded, or the Paid In Full initiative, which gives veteran legacy rappers 500k plus free premium healthcare for life. She’d want to talk about bullshyt.

Kendrick sitting down with Joe Budden would be Joe & Co being as messy as they could, trying to get some bullshyt off regarding the battle when Kendrick’s literally said everything there is to say regarding Drake and his view of him in his raps. They wouldn’t even go about in an intelligent, thoughtful manner, it would just be ridiculous.

And don’t even get me STARTED on Elliot Wilson, dude is a straight clown with clear biases who couldn’t be objective to save his life.

The only halfway decent Hip Hop platforms nowadays are Bootleg Kev and Big Boy
Have you heard Angie interviews lately? More than likely she'd ask about both, but unless some shyt is off topic beforehand, she'd try to ask about anything going on with him. But I hate to break it to you, there aren't many places in media, let alone hip-hop media that give a fukk about what Nas is doing philanthropically. The type of media that would do a whole segment on what Nas is doing with Mass Appeal is CBS Sunday Morning type shyt or a business publication. It would be to the point where if a kid played a Nas clip where they asked him about legacy rappers, they'd think they put on the wrong pod/video. That's why if I DO listen to anything related to hip-hop media outside of clips here and there, I fukks with Wayno's stuff.

Hip-hop media unfortunately is the :gurl: of music media, so all they wanna do IS gossip. That's what spearheads discussion, including here. Unfortunately, even asking the tough questions makes you look biased to these rappers Awful byproduct of this fake news era.

Why do people want Drake to have a tough interview so bad? I mean, I get it for the entertainment purpose but WHY is it such a point of conflict?
For the same reason anyone does: it just feels like we knew more of the truth back when tougher questions were asked. It's easier to know who lied, what the inner workings of some things are, even what some songs meant. Vlad might be morally bankrupt, but he gets people comfortable enough to talk without feeding people softball questions.

Personally, I don't really care where Drake does podcasts, but who he does podcasts and interviews with tells us so much about him than any question that's been asked. We've long run out of these places that can offer that. Not traditional media, not late night media, not newspapers, not these music channels who did shows like Behind The Music and stuff like that. All we have now are gossiping hip-hop podcasts and streamers who only have 2 objectives: run those views up and glaze you to death so you can come back and repeat the process.

True, expecting Drake to have another interview like he had with Elliott Wilson is one thing but once it was announced that he was doing a sequel with Bobbi Althoff everyone should know what time it is and accept it as that.
