Look at Meeks career, so that’s not the point

I’m probably a bigger drake fan than you are, but I’m not the delusional one here.

Pusha handed him an L.

Shorty wore a Pusha T shirt to the game and had Drakes panties bunched up

Drake career isn’t over but the diss had that nikka scrambling, writing essays about the cover art, putting J Prince on L tour, couldn’t even direct one shot at Pusha since. He said it himself it was a chink in the armor he asked LeBron if he let him down.... shyt was gross to see.

Drake wouldn’t even know he had a son if it wasn’t for Push (calm down its a joke)

Yeah, I never disputed he handed him an L as far as the battle goes, but only because Drake didn't respond again, not because Adidon was this top 5 diss record nikkas made it out to be and that L did no damage at all.

The only people that still care are Pusha T fans and nikkas that hate Drake anyway.

I forget the whole shyt ever happened until Drake's name is mentioned here and the whole booth comes out with jokes.

As far as whose the bigger Drake fan, you're probably right, I really didn't give a damn about Drake before the battle, just caught his singles on the radio, but now that I'm going back and listening to a lot of the records he's put out over the past 10 years, taking his career in in it's totality, I'm definitely a fan now.

Breh's music literally defined a decade, and there aren't many artists that can say they've done the same.

Not only that but how can Drake or his stans make a joke about nobody knowing Push's music when he is on camera admitting to being a huge fan and buying Push's mic off ebay:mjlol:.

Dude is an admitted Pusha/Clipse stan and people try to beat around it :mjlol::mjlol:

Anyway, this just shows that Adidon struck a massive nerve despite his continued high sales (which would be high anyway, his a pop artist) and despite Drake's delusional fanbase. No other artist's fanbase has ever written and posted their own diss tracks to an adversary due to their hero being eviscerated like he did. That is completely embarrassing.

Drake's hurt but he's not lying. Pusha should have used an original beat that was my only criticism.
This but the beat selection did relate to the content of the song and the artwork.

And the diss record wasnt made to ring off at pool parties. It was meant to embarass and hurt the target...which it did....in spades

Exactly.

The whole "Drake continued to sell, be popular, etc." angle is goofy because:

1. If that mattered then Drake wouldn't have been crying to Bron 6 months afterwards. This was well after "Scorpion" had broken all kinds of records.

2. Nobody applied that same logic to any diss record prior to this.

For example, "Hit Em Up".

Did it have any impact on BIG's career? No.

Is it still considered one of the best diss records of all time? Yes.
Imagine asking some one if they heard the diss back then.....and they replied with "who cares, BIG is still popular." :unimpressed:

It's wild how arguments that would've gotten you laughed out of the room back then, are now considered solid rebuttals.

Addidon is not an all time classic diss tho

Ain't no quotables on there...and all he did was get personal

Addidon was a good diss & that's it...solid 8/10 but damn sure not a 10/10

Not on the level of No Vaseline, Ether, Hit Em Up, The Bridge Is Over, etc...

I never said it was an all time classic breh, what are you talking about? :mjtf:

I'm saying I think it's corny for people to play the "well, it had no effect on his career" angle when nobody ever used that argument prior to Drake.

Cats bend over backwards to give him every pass imaginable. If Meek went on a talk show 6 months after "B2B" crying about :mjcry: "it's not fair" cats would've had a field day.

This thread has more responses than the thread about Pusha’s new song.

:ohhh:

Song leaked a year ago, this is just an HQ copy.
