oh ok so you wanna play the hip hop rules game now??? :mjlol:....do you realize this is not 1 rapper vs. 1 rapper?....this is 1 rapper vs. the machine represented by a figurehead....actually this IS NOT hip hop....Drake IS NOT hip hop
You're in denial now

I'm from the city full of Drake stans and IDGAF about him. But how can you slander the breh. Explain what he did wrong?

It takes a real man to admit he was wrong. Step up breh.

People keep saying Drake is the only one rapping as if this nikka Meek don't got the powers that be at his neck right now. Its obvious Flex got clamped on regarding the reference tracks. Meek probably getting blackballed like crazy. Y'all think its so black n white. Drake literally got this platform tailor made for him. He can have QM write his diss tracks, premiere them on Apple Radio while the whole game sucks his dikk oft while his lawyers flex on Flex. Meek don't got it like that. Its not required to drop a diss less than a week after one has been dropped against you. Also lets not forget, Meek writes his shyt and came up in the streets rapping. He can still be in the streets, his Day 1's still rock with him. He went from being a hood, grimy fukk to banging Nicki. He came up for real even tho his rapping is average. Drake is a literal fraud and some of y'all idolize him. Pathetic.

Meek still needs to respond regardless tho. He knew when he wrote the tweet it would set something off. Even if he has to fight the machine he still has to clap back. Drake fans are going to totally disregard those reference tracks as if nothing happened. Meek needs to remind them why this all happened in the first place before everyone forgets and just has a fukkery party instead. People have the shortest attention spans now so sitting back and doing nothing isn't good
ok cool but how do we know what's stopping him from releasing the diss? who's to say it's not the machine that's stopping him?

Why do we have to compare this to every great diss record in history? That's the problem with people these days. Hype due to social media is so great that when by the time you get to it you're disappointed because it doesn't live up to the hype. Back in the 90's and 2000's cats would drop diss records all the time via mixtape that were basically warm ups. The Jay-Z/NaS beefs had 5 or 6 different diss records leading up to Ether and Takeover. No one was comparing them to Hit Em Up or the Bridge is over. If this were 2002 instead of 2015 these two Drake records would have dropped on Clue and Kay Slay mixtapes and only your most hardcore music/rap fans would have heard them.....now due to the hype they're all over the place and no one can take it for what it is....

In Statistics this is known as survivors bias. You Forget every single B and C level diss record that was out there and compare these current records to the greatest diss records of all time...

Exhibit A-Nas Eye for an Eye freestyle (dissing Jay)

Exhibit B-Nas Stillmatic freestyle

Exhibit C-

What about this jab at 2pac.....By everyone's standards today this would be weak because he didn't go all in.

I'm not even going to mention all the subliminal disses that dropped.....The Message, Imaginary Player etc......Give the beef time to build. It really hasn't started until Meek responds.

From these 2 drake records, it's clear to me that he hasn't even used his best material to diss him yet. These are clear bait records......He hasn't gone all the way in or even mentioned his name yet.

I took it for what it was, trash then moved on and left the thread but got alerts so came back.

The good ghostwriter came through this time

And this shyt still light:HHHGTFO: How you let stunt dunks drop a better diss. I'm not even a big fan of tweet but he held his own against Cassidy. He can body him if he wants
Exactly...Drake fans are going to rock with whatever he puts out (they've already said they don't even care if he writes it)...and they'll hate what meek says no matter what probably...I do appreciate Drake's hip hop response tho...(it's still music)...but if meek does this right HE VERY WELL COULD BODY HOMIE:ohhh:

All of this and the nikka don't even pen his own shyt. This homie is on ads wit Rakim, Big and Nas and nikkas are celebrating this dudes fraudulence. This rap shyt is crazy
It's over. We lost the game years ago and now we're seeing the end of it. But its cool we will just have a new genre like we did after jazz, rock etc.
