CLB didn’t have a physical release either.
I was thinking maybe it did and that could account for the massive drop in first week numbers for this new album, but there’s really no spinning this. Hopefully he will massively over perform projections and move more than 400k to avoid the flop.

None of you are as stupid as you’re pretending to be, and know EXACTLY what I’m saying….my original post stands on its own…the next real Drake album is going to sell 500K+ first week and ALL of you know it
Ok so Honestly, Nevermind should not be part of his discography.
Gotcha

Why do you care? Seriously? Why let the average American's decisions on music matter at all?
Idc who bought it this team shyt is goofy :mjlol: nikkas talking about L’s and W’s like they’ve been within 50’ of these artists. Just enjoy the music or don’t and stfu with this Avengers shyt. nikkas are fans acting like they’re on the street team

Why are you not able to put your thoughts into writing? What is a "real project" from the guy? Is a seventh album really not that? He is not saying that it is a mixtape
I don't know what these guys are talking about, artists are supposed to innovate. This sounds like a Drake album with a consistent style, instead of his Shang Tsung thing.

They don't understand that people are shytting on the stans that always talk about numbers, not on Drake for trying to innovate like a Kendrick or Kanye.

That is definitely not innovative in the slightest. It sounds like the sound popular on airwaves around the early 2010s. His stans are exacerbating things by trying to act as if he is putting out an innovative project, though. Drake has done innovative dance songs before that are popular

That is what is so surprising about it. It is a regression. How do you go from something as forward thinking as the Take Care song to that when you are supposed to be honing your artistry as you age? His new stuff sounds just like this, but with worse vocals

Remember when the album announcement happened and the immediate reaction of Ak+Coli Drake stans was that it's Drizzy season again, he bout to put Kendrick in a pack on his birthday, bout to show everyone how to make a summer album, it's gonna sell xyz more, etc.

Now it's "well but he wanted to make a dance album so it doesn't count buys."
:mjlol:

I'll wait for the final number but if it's under 295k I'm cash apping mods to ban you nikkas.

Drake is a pop star. Kendrick is a lyrical rapper who hasn't put out a record in 5 years. Drake has no excuse to not outsell him.

Shut the hell up . Kendrick had so much hype and anticipation. he's a huge artist, people weren't fukking with it at all I guess

Drake threw some shyt out and people arent fukking with it until they start going out and they are playing it at the lounges and clubs/bars. It'll do what it's supposed to: give thots and simps some ig captions

Can't wait til they both use the tried and true "it was just something I threw out for the fans  "
