no harm in that at all...and that's the problem with those jumping all over people like me who simply don't label Drake a saint for doing it.

you think people like me don't understand how charity organizations work just because of that opinion? we know that all types of charities have ulterior motives and stipulations, but i'm just talking bigger picture in this particular case.

the real movement is not in giving money away to a few families anyhow. it should instead be about building the foundation, preparing, educating, etc.

Drake and people like him get mad if everybody's not instantly praising him 1000% for it without a peep...so does that mean they're doing it for likes? that's the movement i'm seeing these days...the "likes movement".
Nobody said praise him but don't knock him for it either.

If Donald Trump, hillary Clinton or Bernie sanders or these other political clowns did what drake did during election time, does that mean that they're doing that with good intentions?

Drake is only doing this shyt because he has an album coming out. Dude is fake as hell. It's obvious that the fakest people are gonna shine in this social media, keeping it fake Era. He's clearly trying to buy respect or have people overlook his bullshyt. Another case of money talks, bullshyt walks. People such as yourself are giving these frauds way too much credit and that's why things are completely fukked up nowadays in our society on a whole. It's disgusting.
Drake is not a politician... your analogy false flat on it's face.

That would be illegal for one :dead:

He doesn't have to do anything. He is already popular. It's beyond retarded to be mad at someone for being charitable you could just be indifferent. Rappers give money to strippers all the time and brag about it with no backlash. Human beings are never satisfied. Fake outrage. Define fake charity to me cuz the act still serves its purpose to the people who are recipients. :dead:

Go be mad at brehs promoting black genocide and put the same energy into it.

For the record I've never bought one drake album and I'm from Toronto and this won't make me buy any. He doesn't need my support to hit his sales points. His popularity wasn't gonna be increased or affected by this maybe his perception. Y'all just love to bytch about nothing. I wish he gave this money out in his city to be honest.

Nothing Drake ever does feels authentic IMO. I was cool with the video, but I did find it strange that all of these donations in the Miami area kept being announced in the media in advance. It felt random.

That was a first for him, and obviously we learned that this song/video was the reason for those announcements.

Giving money to people who need it is great, and not saying Drake didn’t want to do well by them. But it just feels funny to me knowing that it was all orchestrated on a string of corporate conference calls and marketing campaigning...and then once it’s out, it’s over just like any other song and video.

So what’s the real plan?

:yeshrug:

Calm down "Rosenberg"....

We get the point :comeon:

Please stop with the bullshyt.

If he wanted to be genuinely charitable, he would have done something that would be beneficial to disadvantage folks that would benefit them in the long term such as opening a community center or donating money to rehab some homes in poor communities or something of that nature. He would have done that without a personal motive or any time. Not that bullshyt of giving out 1 million dollars of money and this public relations bullshyt before his album drops and worst off, posting it on social media or media outlets. Then it shows he's doing it for all the wrong reasons.

And everything else youre saying and accusing me of is bullshyt. When did I ever promote black genocide because I'm calling out drake for doing what he does best-being fake.

You sure as hell could have fooled me with the last paragraph. You support his bullshyt which is just as bad as buying his half assed music that he doesn't even have of writing or even creating. He even gets coached on how to say his shyt. His whole entire music career has been based off of fakeness from his buzz to even his overexaggerated sales which the industry literally changed its rules for platinum and gold certifications to make his underselling ass look like he's really that popular.

All around, I'm so sick of seeing these fake fukks being shoved in my and the other people's faces and being told by the higher ups that want to control everyone what we should like, look up to and celebrate. People can't even be themselves or be independent thinkers anymore. Of course, people like you buy into that bullshyt and are ready to claim I'm "hating" or coming up with crazy things to shame me such as "promoting the destruction of black people" because I see through that clowns gimmick and you dont. The bigger picture of it is that as a society, these folks at the top are literally fukking us over and how they do it is by pushing illusions on us by showing drake who is some corporate creation marketed and operated by the machine to control the public on some "this is what you should look up to". Nothing too edgy or would actual influence the public to rebel or question what's going on. Rap was a powerful artform that scared the government and the politicans back in the day where the fbi and all these folks in power were literally threatening and silencing folks for being too real and opening up the public conscious. The closest period which reflected a revolution since the 60s was the 90s. It kicked off in the late 80s but the 90s really was when shyt could have went there. The government saw that and shut shyt down by the 2000s. They stopped generation x and they wasn't giving generation y an opportunity especially with the Internet and etc. It's no coincidence that MySpace, Facebook, smart phones, and etc started emerging when the core of generation y became adults. Look at how folks can't even get busy on the conscious and activism tip. They gotta be told and don't even do their Googles to see what they're getting involved with. Drake is basically gentrified rap but he didn't get to where he was at without the help of other artists who were used to lay the groundwork for him to be accepted. Hence Kanye West and kid Cudi amongst certain artists. Crazy thinking about it.

I'm all for authenticity. fukk this bullshyt.

Where do you guys get this crazy figure from? $7M, are you crazy.

That looks like a standard LaFerrari production car. Only 1 La Ferrari sold for 7M, which was the last one ever made. Highly customised by Ferrari to raise money for reconstructions after an earthquake in Italy.

Ferrari made 499 coupes that sold for 1-2M and then the 500th special edition one that got auctioned for 7M. The later run was 210 Aperta models.

That standard LaFerrari is no where near 7M.
