Funny thing about Calabasas....it must be the suburban location and close proximity to LA downtown...there is nothing remarkable about the place but for some reason people flock there... its very bland...most of the houses they buy are in the hills........but the houses and apartments in the area are standard....overall the area while quant is nothing spectacular

As much as I like this song and his music (for the most part, views is still average to me) it's fukked up that whenever drake drops a dope song where he kinda goes in all everyone wants to do is argue on which person in his camp wrote it lol.

Anyway you look at it the ghostwriter shyt really fukked his image up amongst rap fans, he's still at the top sales/popularity wise and I still think he will be for at least a few more years, pretty much because the average person doesn't care who wrote it long as they like it..but unfortunately he'll never be placed in "that" discussion with the rest imo.

Well, either he should've always been writing his own stuff in the first place, or admitted from day one he did and put it all out there. NWA is an all time rap group, yet Ren, Cube, and DOC were the ones doing all the writing for Eazy and Dre, and it was out there from the start. You can't run around talking about you're the best and puffing out your chest as a rapper, and have a House of Representatives amount of guys writing for you. Because of all that, Drake is basically a better version of Diddy, but even Diddy has been letting people know for 20+ years other people write for him. 100% Drake fans may not think anything of it, but it matters to everybody else, which is why he'll never be put in the upper echelon of rappers unless you're solely talking about sales and popularity. He's a good artist, and knows how to find talent, but he'll always have that ceiling. Hopefully he can just make good music to recover from that abomination known as Views.

I agree, he's capable because he probably wrote a good amount of his music, but he really fukked over his potential legacy, people just won't forget it suddenly lol
