Really good album. 4/5. Still not really into Drake as a far as subject matter and his rapping/ singing voice but this sounds good. 40 is the real genius out of that OVO crew, You can enjoy it without really listening to the verses like that. This is in the same tier as Graduation or Carter 3 for me. So Far Gone is still the best thing he has ever done. This is his best album though.

Hov's album was lukewarm but it sold ..That's not the point. Yeh Drake is going to sell, but for me there wasn't any doubts of the music I was listening to with Take Care and Thank Me Later. Those were bonafied bangers from start to finish. None of this "it's trash now, I gotta listen to it 85 times for it to grow on me".. that makes absolutely zero sense.

Thank you breh. This entire forum is hyperbole and dikkriders. Maybe it's because I never posted in the old Spot, but I never noticed it before. But everything is an extreme opinion colored by people's perceptions of an artist and usually just the type of subject matter you like. You say anything to the contrary, or moderate, "hater" or "dikkrider." With that said, Drake ...let me get a few listens in.
