Perhaps the Dj played 25 songs in a row.

I went to a Wu-tang show and everyone in there were booing, screaming that the shyt was wack as fukk, throwing shyt on Ghostface, spit Gza in his face :childplease:

I am lying, I'm just saying wild ridiculous shyt that doesn't make any sense without any receipts like the stupid fukkboys in this thread. "Likeminded 38 year old unemployed idiots on the coli are co-signing me, so I'm right and the rest of the world is wrong" - :flabbynsick: Coli logic.

Btw Google sarcasm :what:.

What has been his answer?
Do you think interviewers are so stupid to assume that features, studio time and shyt is free? :what:

Question is when the fukk did he deny it, as the man is claiming. What did he do with his Degrassi money?
"i'm still money from my acting days".

He's not been on Combat Jack show, people usually ask how did you come up and give the person being interviewed like 1 minute. What they wanna know about Drake is about Degrassi, not his annual financial statements for 05 06 07 08 09 10. Only dikkriders on the Coli want that, unfortunately interviewers try to stack listeners and no one cares about the small circle of :flabbynsick: dudes :manny:
full

You typed a whole lotta words out there without saying shyt :russ:

First heard of him on Concreteloop in 07 ...I didn't think much of it
except I like Trey and this guy is just okay. Nothing special.

Then this dropped ...I only checked it since I like Little Brother

It was just the perfect combination of timing and drive...

I never thought I'd see a corny sensitive Canadian runnin rap:wow:

god damn these old records are so so so corny. now he's the only thing that matters in a matter of years. started :mjcry: champagne :mjcry:

I know this has been posted last year but couldn't find the thread and I think it's more relevant then ever now :skip:.

A lot of people dismissed this back then but it's looking a lot more true right about now.

Room for improvement is my favorite Drake joint...When he use to rap...F is all over that joint.

All this shyt is funny to me because back when he first came out and nikkas would say he was corny, gay, a herb, etc the only thing people would fall back on was saying that his music was "real", personal, and something we could all relate to. Whenever people personally came at him he would say "never the flow though". Come to find out all his personal lyrics were written by a gang of nikkas. All his flows were sharked. All his real lyrics were strong armed from other nikkas. You cant make this shyt up:mjlol:
Yep...from 2009-2012 Drake was the underdog in the game seen in the same vein as J.Cole or Kendrick for making "real music" and for "not being afraid to be himself" and representing a new movement for rap away from the gangsta/bling braggadocio. And even with him name dropping Phonte and Big Pooh of Little Brother as inspirations, people were saying he's "lyrical".

Fast forward to now, he's legit the opposite of all of this.

He's not the underdog, he was rich and bought his way in
Has writers to write hooks, bars, cadences,
has a writing pool to create hit songs
Has a label where everyone who's not him gets the cold shoulder and no promotion
Sharks up and coming rappers on soundcloud for their tracks, sounds, etc.

He's a snake.

So what's the source on this dumbass article? When was this written? I wanna say last year, but the part that kills me is where it says breh "ran out of money last year"... like :dwillhuh: :jayhuh: he ran outta money? How? How he run out of money when he's been on top since 2011 after take care dropped? :mjlol: but y'all nikkas eat up any and everything negative about dude and take it all as gospel. shyts comedy.

That was from a while back actually. It resurfaced last year during the Meek - Drake beef.

Define the term real music? It's Music that you... Wrote yourself? Meek is considered real because he... Writes his own lyrics? :francis: It's really not that hard to understand.

No one in here is calling drake a fraud because of the content of the bars, but because he doesn't write them. That whole bs you just wrote about 'Oh so Meek is Real because he talks about crack and stunting all day?!' is :mjpls::mjpls::mjpls: You either a cac or one of those c00ns that was picked on growing up for not being *hood* enough or *black* enough or for being into anime or some shyt and now you have a chip on your shoulder towards other Black folks. I can spot that shyt a mile away :camby:

Matter fact, neg

First of all, i don't know who you are...but i paid my dues in this industry as a BLACKMAN with KNOWLEDGE OF SELF when you was just a twinkle in your deadbeat daddy's nutsack....

Your not even worthy of having dialogue with myself based not only your blatant disrespect of me , but your ignorance of my history on this board as well as the music industry.

So if you want to have a passionate RESPECTFUL conversation in regards to this subject and my viewpoint on the matter ..feel free to hit the PM .... :manny:

if not..... :ehh:

Then you i suggest you reserve that emotionally bent rant of yours with that PORCH MONKEY OF A MOTHER WHO RAISED YOUR SAVAGE AZZ cause that will get you NO WHERE with me or in life period.....

in the name of A.L.L.A.H i leave you in PEACE

:troll:

If you call yourself one of the best of this generation, brag about being dope lyricist and how your pen game is vicious....
and you don't write most of your rhymes, come up with song concepts/ideas but claiming all the credit...then I'm gonna give you the :camby: off GP.

But....but its 2016:damn:. So fukking what. It can be 2056 and nikkas are still going to be outraged because some of us live & breathe for this hip-hop shyt. Passive aggressive comments like that is why so many trash rappers are running a muck and getting hall passes. If a rapper comes out and keeps it 100 about having help and not writing his shyt, I would give him a pass but I'll put him/her in the "Dre and Kanye" category. Which is cool in my book

And now he's rapping more about braggadocio and street shyt lol...I never really saw Drake an underdog. He's been a front runner ever since he started out and continues to be a front runner. Cole had to grind to get where he at now...was in student loan debt, couldn't pay anything to get on if he tried. Overtime, he remained to be the same person he was before he got on and thats he has such a dedicated following, same as Kendrick. Drake was pretty much fooling everyone the entire time....He revealed himself alot over the last few years to be the antithesis of the image he portrayed.

@WickedGames since you're using the angle that it's only the final product that matters. Wanna cone in here and explain the reasoning behind this after the meek mill shyt happened.

No one can question my involvement in drakes career. We have come a long way together. So let me start by putting something into perspective

12:49 PM - 23 Jul 2015

Noah Shebib

✔‎@OVO40

I can't count the hours that myself and drake have spent writing producing and recording music. Let's just say... 5000 hours...

12:50 PM - 23 Jul

Noah Shebib

✔‎@OVO40

I've spent maybe 30 min in a studio with Q. Nice enough guy, very talented...

12:53 PM - 23 Jul 2015

If your asking if he contributed to if you're reading this... Yes, he did. You can also see that by reading the credits.

Anyways, I don't work with many people. And there's a reason....

1:00 PM - 23 Jul 2015

Noah Shebib

✔‎@OVO40

No one is as talented as drake. It's not worth my time. I need someone who understands song writing on a higher level...

1:01 PM - 23 Jul 2015

Noah Shebib

✔‎@OVO40

Sometimes that skill is used to recognize other great songs... Like in all forms of music... Except rap.

1:08 PM - 23 Jul 2015

Noah Shebib

✔‎@OVO40

Rap has a stigma about writing your own lyrics and rightfully so... its a very personal art form and its rooted in speaking truthfully.

1:09 PM - 23 Jul 2015

Noah Shebib

✔‎@OVO40

Thankfully for me drake isn't just a rapper. He's also a musician and a producer and a creator.

1:10 PM - 23 Jul 2015

Noah Shebib

We go beyond the normal boundaries that rappers want to sleep themselves stuck in.

1:10 PM - 23 Jul 2015

Noah Shebib

✔‎@OVO40

We've been fighting those rules from day one. If no one noticed there weren't many singing rappers in '08

1:11 PM - 23 Jul 2015

Noah Shebib

✔‎@OVO40

Theres countless number ones and songs drake has written for others never mind himself, thats the funny part lol!

1:16 PM - 23 Jul 2015

Noah Shebib

✔‎@OVO40

To be even feeling my own need to say these things is crazy

1:17 PM - 23 Jul 2015

Noah Shebib

✔‎@OVO40

and even more ironic is that drake is maybe the most personal rapper ever

1:19 PM - 23 Jul 2015

Noah Shebib

✔‎@OVO40

never has someone spoken about themselves or there own perspective so vividly... ever.

1:19 PM - 23 Jul 2015

Noah Shebib

✔‎@OVO40

its why people have called him soft... because he shows humility and is truthful and honest.

1:20 PM - 23 Jul 2015

Noah Shebib

✔‎@OVO40

you're smokin that shyt you say you selling if you think someone wrote that shyt.

1:21 PM - 23 Jul 2015

Noah Shebib

✔‎@OVO40

so if someone wants to be upset that drake made a great album, go for it, get mad all day lol! but don't ever question my brothers pen.
