I always found Drake's music to be fake deep, convoluted, take for example Marvins Room....who the fucc actually calls a girl talking about 'You could do better' :childplease: he's telling women what they want to here.
He panders to many constituents. What’s meant to be coalition-building comes across as really corny.

Lets be honest Black music in the mainstream has gone through a major shift these past 15 years. And Drake and the likes have been a huge part of it.

I was just watching this



And i realize, this will never happen today. Just my opinion, but something is severly lacking in the music that's push to the mainstream. Everything that made our music special(no matter the genre), is slowly being stripped away.

I cringe at what R&B in the mainstream is and Hip-Hop that's a whole nother story.

The culture and the music is being gentrified to fukk.
